If you love Amy Butler’s fabric designs you will swoon over her paper line. The Lotus Collection, by the famed fabric and surface designer, is printed with soy-based inks on post-consumer waste recycled paper. Lotus products come in recycled pakaging made from 95% post-consumer waste. What’s more is the packaging is reusable. The back card stock of the paper pads is printed with cut-outs that can be used as embellishments. The ReMake Collection offers all the basics for scrapbooking and card-making. The brightly colored papers, cards, and envelopes are printed with soy-based inks on 100% post-consumer waste recycled paper. Remake packaging is also sustainable with reusable paper packaging designed with embellishment cut-out and clear protective bags made from corn. The papers are still acid free and lignin free. K & Company is taking their commitment to the environment one step further with a partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Kansas City. They have created an online donation program and all donations will be used to plant trees in the yards of the Habitat for Humanity homes. With your Plant A Family Tree donation you will also receive a package of downloadable graphics to spread the word about your donation and to invite others to do the same.
