Stitch a little history into your sewing project with some beautiful, vintage fabric!
There’s just something about vintage fabric. I love picking up yardage from the past and wondering about it’s story. The designs and colors speak of times when maybe things were a little simpler. Of course, you can imagine my delight when I stumbled upon Miss Legacy’s amazing stash of vintage fabric! Janice, owner of Miss Legacy, has owned a vintage store for 15 years. She got into the vintage fabric biz when she “was lucky enough to buy the remains of a fabric store that opened in the forties & closed in the sixties.” She’s got a huge selection of fabrics from pretty much every decade. I would love a scarf made from this fireworks-inspired chiffon: This purple paisely really speaks to my skirt obsession: You can check out Janice’s whole supply over at Miss Legacy’s fabric shop. Folks in Knoxville can scope out her vintage fabric and finds in person at her vintage store.
