Australia-based designer Danielle Stewart hand screen-prints her fresh, modern designs onto linen/cotton or hemp/cotton fabrics using environmentally friendly solvent-free inks.
An independent textile designer based in Fremantle, Western Australia, Stewart discovered a passion for screen-printed textiles while studying fashion and textile design, which led her to start up her own business a couple of years ago. She loves the challenge of creating repeating patterns and the excitement of seeing her designs transformed into gorgeous prints on fabric! Stewart says that using eco-friendly processes is important to her because: I just love the vibrant colors she chooses, like the Spring Birds design pictured to the right. How cute would that be as a cloth napkin or handkerchief? She also sells remnants in great-looking scrap packs, like the one pictured at the top there. You can find Danielle Stewart’s goods in her Etsy shop, or catch her on her blog.
