The current trend in bridal bouquets are pretty, semi-round, hand wrapped styles which is great for those who wish to go DIY. You can make your own DIY bridal bouquets with real or artificial flowers. I prefer artificial flowers simply because they are easier to work with. There’s no refrigeration required and you can make the bouquets in advance with no worries. Plus they will last forever. They’re great for displaying in a case or on a shelf and it’s a nice way to preserve wedding memories....

Ooh, and their Roundup Ready seeds–LOVE them! Since it’s my six-year-old’s job to spray our family garden with weed killer, it’s a huge relief that she can spray both our plants and our weeds, and only the weeds are killed. But maybe you’ve noticed some pesky dandelions over at the park, or you saw a weird-looking bug in your neighbor’s yard that you’re pretty sure is going to sneak into yours next....

You can use a penny to help create similar circles. These will become your “button holes.” Paint the lid, except for the circles. You might have to do several coats to get full coverage. Once your lid is dry, add your buttons....

Then, randomly staple your twine to the back of the frame like so: After each staple, hammer it into the frame. Hammering them will help secure your twine even more. I would staple, hammer, staple, hammer, etc, to make sure my twine stayed secure. Now you can hang your memos, recycled business cards, or pictures using clothespins....

My kid has grown six inches in the last year! How do I know that? It’s an easy estimation, because the flannel pajama pants that I sewed her and that fit her perfectly last year are now exactly six inches too short. Sometimes your hangers are ugly. Sometimes you have the wrong kind of hangers–plastic instead of wooden. Wire instead of plastic. Regardless of whatever you hate about the hangers you have, the answer is rarely to throw them away. Trust me–you’ll hate knowing that they’re wasting away in a landfill for all of eternity even more than you hate owning them. Instead, upcycle those unwanted hangers. This toilet paper roll turkey is so simple to make and would be adorable on your Thanksgiving table! What You Will Need: Toilet paper or paper towel rolls. I used two toilet paper rolls. Book pages or other recycled paper Hot glue/hot glue gun Crayons School glue. If you can, use eco-glue! Permanent marker Scissors How To Do It: Cut your toilet paper rolls. I cut a 1.5 inch piece for the body of the turkey and I cut the “feathers” into 1 cm pieces....
